The band were delighted with their performance at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. Prior to the results reports from listeners were very positive and we were hopeful for a good result and hopeful for a place in the final. It was not to be our day and the band were awarded 6th position out of 15 bands. Congratulations to Oldham and Freckleton bands who will represent the North West at Cheltenham in September.

The band really enjoyed the preparation with David Thornton and would like to thank him for his hard work and hope to work with him again in the future.
