Senior Band

Blackburn and Darwen Band became a registered charity in Jan 2016. Registered Charity Number 1165173

The ‘Senior Band’, as it is known, is currently graded in the First Section by the British Brass Band Registry.   

We celebrated our 175th anniversary in 2015 with a trip to Paris, several special concerts and even held our own March & Hymn Tune Contest. Read more about it on our special 175 Facebook page.

In 2017 the band enjoyed a fantastic tour of Switzerland.

 

Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings @ 8-10pm & Sunday evenings @ 7.30 - 9.30pm.
