Despite the weather being a little cooler B&D had an enjoyable evening at the annual Whit Friday march contest. Under the trusty baton of Leigh Baker the band played at a grand total of 11 venues. Results are starting to come in and we are delighted to have won best 1st section band at Hurst Village and 2nd overall at Stalybridge Labour Club being beaten only by the world famous Foden's band.
