The band are looking forward to hosting their 11th March & Hymn Tune contest today and it's looking like the weather is going to be kind to us this year! The first band takes the stage at 1pm in Darwen Market Square, we hope to see you there for a great afternoon with 11 fantastic bands.

The band once again had the honour of leading the parade at Ribchester Field Day. As always, it was a fantastic community event, made even better by the glorious sunshine.

Brass band fans are invited to a special evening of music as three North West bands present a preview concert ahead of the North West Area Contest , taking place on 1st March at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool . The concert will be held on Saturday 21st February at AKS Lytham , with a 7.00pm start , and offers a great opportunity to hear each band perform their selected Area test pieces in a relaxed and friendly concert setting. We were delighted to be invited to perform at Manchester Cathedral for this year’s Christmas concert in support of The Christie charity . It was a strong setting for a festive programme, and we appreciated the chance to take part. Today, the band was deeply honoured to take part in the Remembrance Service at Blackburn Cathedral — a moment of reflection and gratitude for all those who have served and sacrificed for our country. The setting inside the Cathedral was both moving and majestic, and it was a privilege to contribute to such an important occasion through music.
