Over the last two weekends, our band had the absolute pleasure of performing The Snowman  to a combined audience of over 800 people—and what a memorable experience it was. Under MD Daniel’s leadership and musical vision he brought the score to life and kept everything seamlessly together across both weekends. We were delighted to be invited to perform at Manchester Cathedral for this year’s Christmas concert in support of The Christie charity . It was a strong setting for a festive programme, and we appreciated the chance to take part. The event also featured the amazing AKS School Choirs of Lytham and the Blackburn & Darwen Band, both of whom contributed excellent performances. A busy December for the band, we hope to see you at some of our events.

Today, the band was deeply honoured to take part in the Remembrance Service at Blackburn Cathedral  — a moment of reflection and gratitude for all those who have served and sacrificed for our country. The setting inside the Cathedral was both moving and majestic, and it was a privilege to contribute to such an important occasion through music.
