Of the 98 bands competing across the eight Areas, just 18 qualified for the National Finals. The band was honoured to take part in the Blackburn with Darwen Civic Parade in Blackburn this weekend, celebrating the appointment of the new Mayor. It was a privilege to perform as part of this special community occasion, including playing in the wonderful Blackburn Cathedral. We would like to thank everyone who came along to support the event and made it such a memorable day.

This weekend saw the band leading the parade at Grimsargh Field Day The band enjoyed marching through the village and the atmosphere was buzzing as people flocked to watch the parade go by There truly is no better way to enjoy the Lancashire sunshine than with a few brass band marches - and maybe the odd pop tune thrown in too! Today, the band was deeply honoured to take part in the Remembrance Service at Blackburn Cathedral — a moment of reflection and gratitude for all those who have served and sacrificed for our country.
