🎺 Just Under a Week to Go!

With just under a week to go, the excitement is really building as Blackburn & Darwen Band prepares to represent the North West at the First Section National Finals! 🏆🎶

The band has been working incredibly hard on the test piece, and after months of preparation, we’re now looking forward to taking to the stage at York Barbican and giving it our very best.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our Crowdfunder. Every donation, no matter how big or small, has helped us towards the cost of getting the band to York, and we are extremely grateful for your generosity and support. 💙

We would also like to say a very special thank you to Darwen Town Council and Councillor Anthony Shaw for their ongoing support, particularly with our fundraising efforts as we prepare to represent Darwen and the North West at this year’s National Finals.

We are incredibly fortunate to have such a close and positive working relationship with Darwen Town Council and truly value their support throughout the year. We look forward to continuing to develop our partnership in the future.

Now it’s time for the final rehearsals… and then York! 🎺🎵
