The band has been putting in plenty of focused rehearsal time on their test piece, Variations on Les Webet , in preparation for the upcoming contest. It’s a challenging work, and the players have been working steadily to fine-tune the details and strengthen the overall performance. They’re now looking ahead to competing in the First Section North West Area in Blackpool this Sunday. We hope to see you there.

Brass band fans are invited to a special evening of music as three North West bands present a preview concert ahead of the North West Area Contest , taking place on 1st March at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool .
