Keeping the Music Going Through August

After a couple of weeks off, the band is back into rehearsals and continuing to work hard throughout August as we prepare for the National Brass Band Finals in York.

A huge thank you to everyone who has stepped in to fill the gaps caused by holidays. Your commitment and support are very much appreciated and help us keep our preparations on track.

We’ve also launched a Crowdfunder to help with the costs of taking the band to York. The trip involves significant expenses, including travel, accommodation and contest costs, so any support would be hugely appreciated – no matter how small.

Every donation really does make a difference and will help us represent Blackburn and Darwen with pride at the National Finals.
