What a fantastic afternoon we enjoyed at AKS Lytham as audiences gathered for our special performance of Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers.
Performed to an audience of almost 300 people, the concert was a wonderful celebration of music, film, and entertainment for all ages. The hall was filled with excitement from the very beginning as families, friends, and supporters came together to enjoy a truly memorable afternoon.
The first half of the programme featured a variety of much-loved pieces, including music from Chicken Run and Shaun the Sheep, which were enthusiastically received by the audience. A particular highlight was a stunning xylophone solo performance of Toccata in D Minor, performed superbly by our percussionist, Ollie. His performance captivated the audience and earned tremendous applause.
The second half brought the much-loved Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers to life, creating a magical atmosphere as the audience followed Wallace, Gromit, and the unforgettable Feathers McGraw on their adventure. The combination of live music and film proved to be a huge success and a wonderful experience for everyone attending.
A huge thank you goes to all of the performers, organisers, staff, volunteers, and supporters who helped make the event such a success. Most importantly, thank you to everyone who joined us at AKS Lytham and helped create such a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere throughout the afternoon.
It was a concert filled with music, laughter, and community spirit — an occasion we will remember for a long time to come.
