Was really good to be back!

What a wonderful concert this afternoon at Blackburn Empire Theatre. Our Junior band started off the programme in fine form followed by the senior band with fabulous playing all round and featured two super solos from soprano cornet Rob and horn Steve. Also, to be noted were fine features from Anne on flugel and Jill on solo trombone.

The band played the Ukrainian state anthem and a departing collection of £381.26 will be donated to the Ukrainian appeal.

Thanks to everyone who came along, it was good to be back.
