The band were proud to take part in the annual civic service at Blackburn Cathedral on Sunday. Cllr Jim Shorrock the new mayor of Blackburn requested that the band play Fanfare for the Common Man which certainly made sure the congregation were awake with a rather loud timpani and bass drum opening!
