What a fabulous day we have had at the Darwen Community Jubilee Event. It was marvellous to see so many people out in the sunshine enjoying themselves in Darwen Town Centre. Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund the event organised by The Blackburn & Darwen Band was a huge success with performances from both the senior and junior bands, Punch & Judy shows, Face Painting, Caricature artist, free food and candy floss as well as some stalls to browse around.
