The band competed in an entertainments contest in Wychavon in October. There were 20 bands competing in the Championship section and the band enjoyed playing their programme bases around the Chilean miners disaster. There was some super playing especially from our soloists and in particular our solo euphonium player Jan. The band were placed 12th overall with some lovely comments from the adjudicator Philip Harper.
